Family Group of Islands

 

Less than 4km offshore, Dunk and the Family Group of islands make up Mission Beach’s aquatic playground.

The Family Group of islands include Dunk, Bedarra, Timana, Wheeler, Combe, Smith, Bowden and Hudson Islands. Access to these islands are by charter or private boat. As the gateway to the Family Group of Islands there are charter boats available, as well as the water taxi to launch any island escape.

 

The tropical verge of Dunk Island is wonderful for cool rainforest walks, and climbing the summit of Mount Kootaloo will reward you with stunning views.
